  • I like bacon or BBQ chicken on my pizzas.

What is a hidden talent your students would be surprised to learn?  

  • I was a track star in high school.  I ran the 880 (2 laps) and was a high jumper.

What is your dream vacation destination and why? 

  • I would love to go to Australia and New Zealand.

  • My covid hobby was I learned how to rollerblade and have gotten pretty good!

What is your dream vacation destination and why? 

  • Dream vacation: anywhere tropical and warm. I love going to tropical places as a break from the Seattle gloom during the winter.

Meet Amy Pitts

Who is your favorite Muppett/Sesame Street character and why?

  • Elmo. My oldest daughter LOVED Elmo. We watched Elmo’s world everyday and had lots of singing Elmo dolls around the house. :-)

What is your favorite children’s book?

  • Goodnight Moon. I would fall asleep with that book every night when I was little.

What is your favorite snack?

  • Gummy Bears :-)

Meet Sadrina Dorn 

Dean of Students

Who is your favorite Muppet/Sesame Street character and why?

  • Favorite Sesame Street character since I was a little girl has always been Ernie.  Ernie is mischievous and loves to be a good friend.  He has a big imagination and is not afraid to try new things, he is free-spirited.  Ernie loves music, playing instruments and singing.  And like me he loves his bath time with bestie, Rubber Duckie.

What is your favorite children's book? 

  • My favorite children’s book from my childhood is “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak.  I loved reading and acting out the part of when Max "came to the place where the wild things are and they roared their terrible roars, and gnashed their terrible teeth, and rolled their terrible eyes, and showed their claws.”  But Max told them to be Still and made friends by performing a magic trick.  I love how he made friends with the Wild things!

What is your favorite snack?

  • My favorite snack to cook with the family is Baked Banana Boats, especially with a little chocolate and marshmallows and a dash of peanut butter.  Yummy!!!  
    My favorite easy to buy snack is a combo of my two favorites…coffee and chocolate.  Chocolate covered espresso beans. One or two brings happiness!

  • My favorite Sesame Street character is Grover because he doesn’t always get things right, but he keeps trying.  I love his silliness too!

  • The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.

  • My favorite snack is dark chocolate caramels with sea salt!

  • My favorite children’s books are far too many to count but among them are Charlotte’s Web and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

  • My favorite snack is popcorn.

  • My favorite snack—for sweet, I like black and red licorice eaten together and for salty, I love barbecue potato chips.

  • Abby es mi personaje favorito de Plaza Sesamo. Ella es amable y divertida. Siempre quise ser una hada y tener una varita magica. 
  •   Abby is my favorite Sesame Street character. She is friendly and funny. I always wanted to be  a fairy and have a magic wand.

  •  I love all snacks but one of my regular choice options is an apple with some type of nut butter.
